In our fifth year of a seven-year project this site is undoubtedly one of the lushest retirement communities in existence. Our portion of the project starts with site grading and laying interlocking common walks to the many site amenities through to individual residential design and installation. We hand pick every tree and shrub at a mature size that comes on site to give that instant established landscape look. Common area planting beds give us a chance to show off or perennial garden skills and add a sense of community and continuity to the entire site. Our street tree placement creates beautiful spring blossom shows along each main street.

Click for larger picture   Uniquely sheltered behind the site's Recreation Center is one of our two showpieces on site; the Recreation Center's focal point Waterfall pond area. Using natural limestone rockery to create the ponds, islands and central waterfall of this area was an excellent opportunity to show off our creative skills when using rockery.



The Village Green on site is a large-scale English style perennial garden. Framed by Boxwood hedges this area is the focal point of the entire site.

A stroll through always has something new to discover, and peak bloom time is July - September when the site is most active.

 

To create that lush effect of an established garden many large trees where placed around the area to frame the project. The shrubbery, unique perennials and ornamental grasses bring this area to life all year round.
